Below are the steps to register your program and to obtain your license file in order to fully install your FITNESSGRAM 8.3 program. For installation instructions, print the README on your CD prior to installation and have it with you. This file also contains troubleshooting tips and the system requirements for your version of the software. Registering your FITNESSGRAM 8.3 product is essential to ensure that you receive a license file to install the program. This license file will contain the name of your school/organization which is printed on the reports.

You will need your invoice number with you as you follow these steps. This number is located on the letter given to you at the July 29, 2008 training at Stevens Point.

  1. Go to this Web page: http://www.fitnessgram.net/licensing
  2. Enter your invoice number from the training letter and click the Check Invoice button.
  3. At the next screen, confirm your FITNESSGRAM 8.3 order by selecting the Yes button.
  4. Select the country and state where your school/organization is located and click the Submit button.
  5. Choose between Public School, Private School, Higher Ed, or Organization. Make the appropriate selection. Note: Districts will only be displayed if Public School is selected. All public K-12 schools should make this selection. Select your district name from the list provided, then the Submit button.
  6. For Public, Private or Higher Ed: Select your school name(s) from the list provided. If your school name is not listed, then you will need to select ‘Not in List’. A field to the right will appear so you can enter the school name. For Organization, you will need to write in the name of the organization. Make sure you spell the school or organization name(s) correctly. Click the Submit button.
  7. A license file has now been generated. Enter your e-mail address to receive the license file as an attachment in the email.
  8. Once you receive the license file in the email, you will need to save it to a location on your computer to be used during the installation process. Do not open the file nor change its name or extension.
